Writing for publication is a surprisingly complex process, as I have been learning.

Back in the good old days, I honestly thought there were only four of five steps to becoming a published author.

HOW WRONG I WAS….

After a buttload of research and a little bit of help from forums and groups online, I now realise that becoming an author is a rather intricate thread of elements. There is so much that goes into a book.

So there you have it.

My tick list.

Holy crap!

However, the steps might change a bit, depending on if the indie or traditional path is followed.

But no matter which road I travel down, I can do this. I WILL do this.

Because at the end of the journey, there is a book baby, waiting to be held, cuddled, loved, and passed around to others.

In the end, I’ll be so proud to have my legacy to the world, held firmly in my hands.

Until then, it’s working my way through the many, many, many steps…
